Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy for Individuals & Couples

Come for a few hours or stay a while with a private, curated retreat for individuals or couples.

During the past decade, the field of psychiatry has seen a flood of new research that demonstrates the healing potential of ketamine for a variety of issues, including depression, bipolar disorder, trauma, OCD, addiction and other mental health issues. Studies document that folks with treatment-resistant depression respond well to ketamine— often very quickly— even after other therapies and medications have been unsuccessful.

Ketamine-assisted psychotherapy in North Carolina catalyzes the benefits of individual or couples psychotherapy by reducing defenses and the fear response while enhancing the ability to see life from a new perspective.

A typical two-night retreat (Friday to Sunday) includes one preparation session, two to three dosing sessions, and three to four integration sessions. Private retreats can be curated to fit your unique schedule and needs. Prior to being eligible to attend a retreat, potential participants must commit to two individual preparation sessions. Individual preparation sessions are conducted virtually for sixty minutes and are required prior to attending a retreat.

For couples, on-site preparation, dosing and integration will be completed together with an experienced ketamine-assisted psychotherapist. Virtual preparation, integration and dosing sessions are also available. Dosing sessions are three hours in duration and preparation and integration sessions are 60 minutes for individuals and 90 minutes for couples.

Private retreats, including day trips, may also include a combination of bodywork, yoga, exercise, relaxation and excursions in addition to an individualized ketamine-assisted therapy program.
